Based on children's novel of 1982 written by Morpurgo, War Horse is the story of friendship of a teenager and his horse Joey. Set in the backdrop of World War I, they have been spending their days happily together until Joey was sold to army cavalry by Albert’s dad and reaches France. The Handspring puppets, the emotional boding between a human and an innocent pet, this Olivier Award winning show is wooing theatre lovers at New London Theatre since April 2009.
